The Region 24 office is located within the IEA-Elgin office.
We share this space with Regions 23, 25, 53, and 63.
IEA Regions can cover vast areas of the state or span smaller geographic areas as population density increases.
Regardless of geographic size, each Region has one UniServ Director.
Each Region has a Chairperson who in turn is a member of the IEA Board of Directors. The Region Chair is the elected leader of the Region Council.
In addition to the sixty seven Region Chairs, the IEA Board of Directors also includes the statewide officers, ESP, Ethnic Minority, Student IEA, Higher Ed, NEA Directors, and other Ex-Officio representatives. Full Listing Here
